Welcome to Youngstown Steel, an online reference and image gallery chronicling the rise and decline of the American steel industry in and around Youngstown and Warren, Ohio, and Sharon, Pennsylvania, between 1803 and the present. The intent of this site is to disseminate knowledge about the industry that had such a profound impact not only on these communities but on the nation as a whole, and to preserve the images of the industry in order to impart to future generations it's imposing and grand scale.
